St. Philip the Apostle Parish

A PARISH OF THE ROMAN CATHOLIC DIOCESE OF GREEN BAY

Ecumenical Partnership for Housing

Since 1992 EPH (Ecumenical Partnership for Housing) has been a charitable landlord. We now own or manage nine family size apartments in quiet neighborhoods in our area, that serve as transitional housing for families in need. We maintain the units with volunteer skilled help, and welcome each new family with a hot meal and pantry staples.

The Salvation Army social workers screen our families and places them in available apartment. They are a valuable asset to our program.

Our families strive to succeed using a wide variety of programs to put their lives back together. While parents pay off debts, acquire education, certifications, and find good employment, the children have a stable and secure place to live.

EPH is run by an all volunteer board of directors with representatives from nine churches. Our House Coordinators Committee is responsible for furniture, household goods, cleaning and welcoming - and is composed of additional dedicated church volunteers.

More than 200 Brown County families have been served by EPH since 1992. These results are impressive because those families have changed their lives, breaking a tragic cycle of homelessness and poverty.
