Knights of Columbus

Charity, unity, fraternity, and patriotism are the principles of the Knights of Columbus.  Nearly 2 million members give service to the church, community, council, family and youth. The group that serves St Philip Parish (known as Msgr. Basche Council #4505), was chartered in 1957, over 60 years ago.

Membership currently stands at about 100 and meets monthly to set its charitable schedule of events (1st Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm at St. Francis Xavier Cathedral Parish). These events range from helping elderly in the parish shovel snow and mow laws, to collecting donations for Tootsie Rolls to help handicapped citizens.

One of the pillars of the organization is supporting priests and the church's stand for pro-life. On the social side, the council has family activities like an annual Wives Appreciation Dinner and a night at a Bullfrogs game. Fundraisers include a magic show and a perennial plant sale.  You can check out the council website: or call the parish office at 920-468-7848 for more information.
